(W3) “Watercolor Landscapes” for adults and high school students, Instructor: Jack Fetzer
Mondays, January 6, 13, 20, 27, February 3, 10, 24, March 3, from 3 to 5 p.m.
Please note the library is closed on Presidents’ Day, Monday, February 17. There will be no class February 17.

This watercolor class is for everyone at every level wanting to learn new techniques and paint buildings and landscapes. Students will create a landscape as the instructor leads them through the basics of material layout and design as well as watercolor techniques. This class has a requested supply list available online and in the library.

Supply List
If you have painted previously bring your usual supplies.  If you are a beginner, you will need the following supplies.                   


Tubes of student grade watercolors: 
Van Dyke Brown, Cerulean Blue, Raw Sienna, Cad Red, Olive Green and Ultra Marine Blue


Brushes, synthetic or sable: 
#6 round, #8 round, #6 rigger and 1" flat


Other supplies:
Plastic palette for mixing. 


2 sheets of 30x22 (140 lb) watercolor paper  we cut one sheet into 4 pieces (11x15) 


Masking fluid

 

16 x 20 piece of plexiglass, masonite 
or stiff cardboard


3/4 "  drafting tape


HB or 2B pencil & eraser
