(W3) “Basic to Intermediate Life Drawing/Painting” for adults and high school students, Instructor: Mark D. Mahoney
Fridays, January 10, 17, 24, 31, February 7, 14, 21, 28, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Live models, photos and other references will be combined as students learn and practice aspects of portrait drawing/painting. Students should bring their own drawing supplies they normally use to the first class. Additional supplies will either be provided or will need to be purchased. Each class will cover a different focus beginning with art materials, demonstration of four starting portrait methods, color/chroma flesh tones, value control, etc. Each week is a chance to experiment with materials, concepts, and approaches.
