(S3) “Fundamentals of Portrait Drawing” for adults and high school students, Instructor: Jerry Zelinskas
Wednesdays, March 19, 26, April 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, May 7, from 1:30 to 3 p.m.
 

This class will teach the basics of portrait drawing. Some drawing experience and ability is recommended. 
Students will learn to map out facial proportions and capture the likeness of a person. Drawing mediums, such 
as graphite and charcoal will be used. Explore a variety of drawing techniques to bring portraits to life using 
basic shapes, tones, shadows, and line to create facial features and capture expression.
