72.88 million Americans are estimated to have hearing loss. Jane Biehl, who has a hearing loss herself, will present an explanation of the ramifications of hearing loss, ways to cope, assistive listening devices, and her personal journey working with the deaf for over 50 years. Her book Do You Have a Voice: Memoirs of My Journey with Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing People will be available to the public. She will also demonstrate how her hearing ear dog, Davina, helps her.
