ART CLASS (S2) “Watercolor Landscapes” for adults and high school students, Instructor: Jack Fetzer
Mondays, July 7, 14, 21, 28, from 3 to 5 p.m.
This watercolor class is for everyone at every level wanting to learn new techniques and paint buildings and landscapes. Students will create a landscape as the instructor leads them through the basics of material layout and design as well as watercolor techniques. This class has a requested supply list available online and in the library’s information center.
Supply List
If you have painted previously bring your usual supplies. If you are a beginner, you will need the following supplies.
Tubes of student grade watercolors:
Van Dyke Brown, Cerulean Blue, Raw Sienna, Cad Red, Olive Green and Ultra Marine Blue
Brushes, synthetic or sable:
#6 round, #8 round, #6 rigger and 1" flat
Other supplies:
Plastic palette for mixing.
2 sheets of 30x22 (140 lb) watercolor paper we cut one sheet into 4 pieces (11x15)
Masking fluid
16 x 20 piece of plexiglass, masonite
or stiff cardboard
3/4 " drafting tape
HB or 2B pencil & eraser
